Prince George of the jungle? Prince William's sweet nod to his son's passion
Prince George 'will be so upset,' when he learns that his parents partook in his favorite pastime

Prince George's true passion was revealed by his parents in a touching nod to their eldest child's most beloved interest—animals! The revelation came as the Duke and Duchess met some beastly characters!
- Prince George, the future king, is a total animal lover.
- Prince William and Duchess Kate acknowledged their son's passion in cute video.
- In other royal news, Prince Harry's bodyguards pinned Mike Tindall to the ground after joke punch.
Prince George, the future king, is a fan of all things animal—even creepy crawlies and snakes! As one of the Queen's 12 great-grandchildren, you might think the young Prince's interests are predominantly in horses and corgis. However, the future king is also into reptiles according to his parents.
Prince William and Duchess Kate made the revelation on their trip to Northern Ireland, where they met some of the animals at the Kidz Farm during a tour of the Ulster University Magee Campus.
The dad-of-three was cool as a cucumber when he held the slithery python as Kate laughed and affectionately put her hand on her husband's lower back.
Prince William turned to the Duchess and said, "George is going to be so upset!" He then added, "the children are not going to be able to believe that I've been holding this."
As well as the python, the royal couple also met a tarantula called Charlotte. Charlotte is of course the name of the spider in the famous children's book Charlotte's Web. However, for Princess Charlotte, having the same name as not one but two spiders is sure to be a treat.
Previously, when speaking to the legendary Sir David Attenborough in a video chat alongside her siblings, Charlotte said, "Hello David Attenborough. I like spiders, do you like spiders too?"

Sir David responded, "I love spiders, I’m so glad you like them!
“I think they’re wonderful things. Why is it that people are so frightened of them?"

Seemingly spiders aren't the only bugs that the young royal as evidenced by a photo of Princess Charlotte, looking like the Queen's mini-me, holding a butterfly!
This intimate moment between the Duke and Duchess is another indicator of their hands-on parenting. Kate Middleton taught George and Charlotte an incredible skill over summer vacation and she even has a secret code word that she uses to get her children to behave.
Considering the fact that Prince William and Kate Middleton are 'nervous' for Prince George's future, it's understandable that they want him and his siblings to have as normal an upbringing as possible.
Difficult as that task is, the couple were recently spotted enjoying this very traditional meal with George, Charlotte, and Louis and they looked just like any average family!
