Pierce told People, "Wherever I went in the world I missed her, and I’d send her tickets to come so we could be together. We just seemed to fit." He added, "I found a great woman in Keely Shaye. Not if I searched a million times over would I find one as good."
As if he couldn't be any cuter, he also told Closer, "When Keely looks at me, I go weak. I love her vitality, her passion." Adding, "She has this strength that I wouldn’t be able to live without."
The happy couple is based in the US and have two children together, Dylan and Paris. Theirs is a brilliantly blended family as they also have three children from Pierce's previous marriage to Cassandra Harris. Cassandra's children from a previous relationship, Charlotte Brosnan and Christopher Brosnan were adopted by Pierce after they were married in 1980 and they had one biological son together, Sean Brosnan.
Cassandra sadly passed away in 1991 as a result of ovarian cancer, an illness that would take her daughter Charlotte 22 years later in 2013.
Pierce spoke of the pain he's experienced in life and how his loving wife and children have supported him throughout these traumas. For him, life is about taking the positive things while you can.
When asked by People what would be his perfect day, he answered, "It was yesterday. I painted in my studio, then I went down and sat on the beach, read and did some drawing, Adding, "and then I had lunch with Keely."
He said, "Around 5 o’clock, I went out and watched the sun go down. Keely sat beside me, we had a glass of champagne and talked about the day." The loved-up star added, "It’s very simple—and the best."
