Penny Lancaster celebrates Rod Stewart’s 75th birthday with adorable photo

Penny Lancaster has marked Rod Stewart's birthday in an adorable way.

The Loose Women star shared a sweet photo of herself and Rod Stewart, to mark her husband's75th birthday.

Penny took to Instagram to post the throwback snap - which shows the happy couple at the beginning of their relationship, at aHyde Park concert in 2002.

Alongside the picture, Penny added the caption, "Love this man, from 55 to 75, happy birthday darling. 'Dream team.'"

Many of her followers were quick to wish the rocker a very happy birthday.

One posted, ‘Happy happy birthday Rod! May your day be filled with love and laughter! You are a legend!’

While others were quick to point out how great the couple look in the picture.

One said, "Gorgeous couple."

While another added,"A model team and one we can all aspire to be! Very happy for you both!"

But it seems this isn’t the only throwback snap that Penny has posted recently.

Earlier this month, the 48-year-old posted two pictures of the pair, side by side. One from 1999 and one from 2019 - to celebrate their anniversary.

Penny and Rod have been together for 20 years and married for 12.

In the post Penny said, "OMG 20 years of love and happiness (1999 to 2019) may we have another happy 20 years together."

One happy fan replied, "Beautiful people congrats."

While another simply said, "Enjoy another 20 years together."

The duo started dating in the late 90s and married eight years later in Portofino, at a medieval abbey. They celebrated their honeymoon on a yacht which was moored nearby.

Penny and Rod have two sons together - 8-year-old Aiden and 14-year-old Allistar.

Rod also has six other children from previous relationships. He spent time with much of his offspring over the festive period.
