'No-One Is Safe': Strictly Come Dancing ‘Curse’ Could Strike Any Couple, Say Former Pro Dancers James And Ola Jordan
Strictly Come Dancing has a habit of ending relationships, with several of the professional dancers forming romances with their celebrity partner following the series.
And it seems this year could be no different as the ‘Strictly Curse' has the potential to break up even more couples, claim the show's former professional dancers, James and Ola Jordan.
Giving their verdicts on the couple pairings for the 2017 series, which kicks off on Saturday night, the married couple say new dancer Nadiya Bychkova will be the one to watch.
The Ukrainian dancer, who is a former Playboy pin-up, has been paired with EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami, 35, a married dad of two.

Discussing the show's curse, James told The Sun,"You do get very close. You are with each other for up to four months, potentially.
"That's a long time to be with someone every single day rubbing up and down them. It could happen with anyone."

And Ola, 34, added, "Do you know what? Sometimes it's the quiet ones."
But new pro dancers aside, James revealed he has his money on The Saturdays singer, Mollie King, to be the one to lift the Glitterball trophy with her partner AJ Pritchard at the end of the series.
"Mollie is my pick to win," he said. "She is going to play the sweet cutesy. But I'm a bit worried because AJ hasn't got that masculinity, and ballroom and Latin dancing is about masculine and feminine."

And while he's looking forward to watching Nadiya in action, wife Ola says she'll have her eyes on another new pro, Aussie Dianne Buswell.
She said, "Everyone is talking about the blonde. But let's not forget about that redhead from Australia. I think she's very cute. My eyes are on the red one!"

Previous relationships that have ended following an appearance on the show include Natasha Kaplinsky, who had an affair with pro partner Brendan Cole before they both left their partners for each other.
Ben Cohen, who got together with his dance partner Kristine Rihanoff after splitting from his wife of 11-years. They now have a daughter together, Milena.
And Countdown star Rachel Riley, who split from her millionaire husband of 15 months Jamie Gilbert - just after her stint on Strictly in 2013. She is now in a relationship with her pro partner Pasha Kovalev.
