Meryl Streep leaves fans in hysterics after boozy video call
Meryl Streep seems like she is making the most of the current coronavirus lockdown.
The legendary Hollywood actress has left fans in hysterics after her afternoon Zoom video call appeared on American TV show Sunday Night Live.
In a tribute show put together to honour Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim, the Devil Wears Prada star appeared on a video call along with fellow Hollywood icons Christine Baranski and Audra McDonald.
The hilarious video call saw the three high-profile actresses sing Stephen Sondheim tune The Ladies Who Lunch while treating themselves to a tipple or two.
And fans were obsessed with the video that saw the It’s Complicated star mixing martinis and drinking whiskey straight from the bottle while lounging in her chic fluffy white dressing gown.
The Good Wife actress Christine Baranski kicked off the performance by singing the first verse, while also dressed her own matching dressing gown and sipping a glass of red wine.
The video then moved onto Meryl who was shaking her cocktail ingredients along with a handful of ice in a glam cocktail mixer before she poured out her drink into a classic martini glass with a lemon peel garnish.

And the internet was loving the amazing video, with fans not able to get over Meryl’s fabulous addition.
