Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha praised by fans for opening up about her body in candid bikini video
Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha has been praised by fans for opening up about her body in a candid bikini video.
Nadia Sawalha shared a video with her nearly 300,000 Instagram followers of her in a comfortable bikini dancing in the sun by the side of a swimming pool.
The video then goes into slow motion to show the Loose Women star finishing off her freeing dance before running and jumping into the lovely swimming pool.
Opening up about her body woes in her caption, Nadia Sawalha wrote, ‘Years ago I got papped on a beach in a bikini and the article discussed how I could dare to go on the beach at the size I was. I was a ‘size’ 14.
‘Sadly this f***ed me up for years...to the point where I literally never ‘dared’ to go on the beach or by the pool again in a bikini again without a cover up on,’ she admitted.
Revealing her new, more positive, outlook, Nadia went on, ‘Thank god those days are well and truly in the past! I feel as joyful and liberated in this video as I look!!
‘FREEDOM from my OWN and OTHERS ‘STINKING THINKING’ is a wonderful thing’.

Encouraging others to experience the same freeing attitude, the TV star continued, ‘I have a dream that my daughters and yours won’t have to go through the body fascism so many of US have had to .
‘But that dream can only come true if we all work hard to make a change by being kinder to ourselves and others #letsnotjudgeeachother’.
In an attempt to inspire others, she finished, ‘Ditch the sarongs girls because......
‘'Those that mind don’t matter and those that MATTER don’t mind!'Dr Seuss ( and NOT Gandhi as I thought for years😂😂😂)
‘'It’s hot there so take off all your clothes !’😂😂😂😂💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💜💜💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽’'.
And fans were thrilled for the Loose Women star, who has previously been open about her body, praising her for opening up and inspiring others.
‘Love you Nadia,’ wrote one. ‘Keeping it real for us women with our wobbly bits and making us realise we should be proud of our bodies and shouldn’t give a crap what people think! Keep flying the flag for us😘’.
‘You need to write a book and do a show on this Nadia, every woman needs this,’ added another.
‘What's that saying, "I wish I was as skinny as the first time I thought I was fat" so true, keep going Nadia you're bloody beautiful inside and out😘’.
Others commented, ‘You are such an inspiration❤️😘’, ‘You look gorgeous and happy. I love the message you're spreading about body positivity’and‘How dare you prance around in a bikini looking so damn fine girl!🤗’.
