Kate Beckinsale reunited with her daughter and the resemblance is uncanny
The duo have reunited after being separated for nearly two years
Kate Beckinsale and her daughter Lily Sheen have reunited after spending close to two years apart from each other. Like many families, the two were kept separate due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On July 23, though, the two got a much-needed reunion at JFK airport in New York City.
It was hard for the actress as she and her daughter share a special bond. She even described the experience as "preposterous" during an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
“I haven’t seen my daughter for two years because of everything. Also, I went to Canada working and she couldn’t come see me,” she explained to the hosts. “Two years of not seeing your child is the most preposterous thought.”
While the moment was certainly heartwarming, we can't get over how much the mother-daughter duo look alike. In the year away, the 48-years-old actress's tried out some new looks, and upgraded her skincare routine. Kate's skin is flawless and that's after the star revealed she's never had botox, instead she uses some of the best skincare products to maintain her natural glow. Lily and her mom also reunited just in time for the actress' birthday where the two posed together with other notable celebrities including
"The best birthday love love love love love," Kate wrote.

During their separation, Kate debuted a dramatic new look on Instagram while Lily studied at NYU. As the actress filmed one of her latest projects in Canada, the border restrictions prevented her daughter from being able to visit her on set.
Though the two couldn't see one another in person, they made up for it with frequent FaceTiming sessions.

“Thank goodness for FaceTime and all that, but we’re both panicking that we’ll look really old to each other,” she told Kelly and Ryan. “My daughter's 22 and looks eight. So she’s like, ‘I’m just worried that you’re going to think I look old.’ I’m like, ‘I’m going to look old!’”
Back in 2019, the mom even joked that she would be going through her daughter's underwear drawer to cope with her missing.
"Just know I'm going to be going through your underwear drawer, just huffing everything while you're gone,” she announced on Good Morning America in 2019. “I won't be going out, I won't have a life, I'm just going to be smelling your underpants and your socks."
Now that the two are back together, we're sure they're spending every minute together after such a long period apart.
