Reese told Elle in 2012, "It happened out of the blue. This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me. He was like, [slurring, scowling, pointing finger in her face] `You don't know me.' And I was like, `Yeah, I know. I don't know you!'"
"Jim came over and said, 'Please excuse my friend. He's just broken up with someone.' Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That's just kind of who he is, a really good person."

Jim encouraged Reese to start producing movies
Reese told Harper's Bazaar in 2016 that her husband played a key role when it came to encouraging her to start a production company.
Reese said about Jim, "He said, 'You should produce movies. You read more books than anybody I know. You should just buy some of them and turn them into films,'"
Reese obviously took her husband's advice and created Hello Sunshine. The media company's mission statement reads, "Hello Sunshine is a media company that puts women at the center of every story we create, celebrate and discover. We tell stories we love–from big to small, funny to complex–all shining a light on where women are now and helping them chart a new path forward."
The production company— which was founded 5 years ago in 2016—has produced iconic shows such as, Big Little Lies, The Morning Show, and Little Fires Everywhere.
Jim supports Reese's ambitions
In an interview with Bazaar, Reese was asked about what the secret to her happy marriage is. She revealed that Jim supports her dreams and ambitions.
Reese replied to the question, "Oh, boy, I don't have the answer to that question! I will say, I think my friend Eve Rodsky is onto something. In a true partnership, people need to be appreciated for everything they bring to the table."
"I have a husband who supports my dreams and my ideas. He helps me with everything. I'm very lucky," said Reese.

As well as supporting his wife professionally, Jim has also taken on the role of stepfather to Reese's children from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillipe.

Jim and Reese also have a son together who was born in 2012. Their 8-year-old is called Tennessee James Toth.
Jim Toth works in the same industry as Reese
Like Reese, Jim works in the creative industries and is well versed at dealing with Hollywood stars.
Jim Toth worked as the co-head of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), an agency that represented a huge number of Hollywood actors.
Deadline reported that Jim personally represented, Matthew McConaughey, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jamie Foxx, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Salma Hayek, Zooey Deschanel, and Neil Patrick Harris. It's worth noting that Jim did not represent Reese herself while he was in this role.
In 2019, Jim left this role and began working for the start-up Quibi. Quibi is a short form American streaming platform that produced and streamed TV shows made up of episodes of 10 minutes or less.
The couple live in Malibu, California in an enormous farmhouse. They purchased the $6.25 million property in June 2019 and it sits on two acres of land, which is more than enough space for the family of 5.
The couple is often spotted walking their two dogs, French bulldog Minnie, and labrador retriever Hank in California, and regularly post updates about their dogs on social media.
This adorable Hollywood couple shows that keeping a low profile has some great advantages. Reese's amazing work as an actor and a producer will likely continue with her supportive husband by her side, cheering her on from the sidelines.
