Jill Biden defended on Twitter after Fox host criticizes her for failing the US
Dr. Jill Biden has been accused by Fox and Friends host Rachel Campos-Duffy of failing to intervene in the Afghanistan crisis
Dr. Jill Biden has received an outpouring of support on Twitter following criticism waged against her on a recent Fox News program.
Jill Biden fans have taken to the social media platform to share their reasons for supporting the FLOTUS during this difficult time, prompting the hashtag 'MyFirstLady' to trend.
The praise, which centers mainly around the English professor's academic success and patriotic nature, came shortly after Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy accused her of failing to influence President Biden's intervention in the Afghanistan crisis. The POTUS has been facing criticism for his slow withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan since it was captured by the Taliban last week, resulting in many doubting his competence to safely evacuate American soldiers from the war-torn country.
During a Fox and Friends segment on Sunday, the Republican television personality partially blamed Dr. Biden for her husband's handling of the recent developments in the war-torn country—despite the fact she lacks the political power to do anything.

Speaking on the long-running chatshow, Campos-Duffy said, “When you look at what’s hurting America, when you look at this lack of leadership, and you wonder who are the people responsible for putting someone this incompetent and frankly this, you know, mentally frail in this position?”
“I’m sorry, as a political spouse, I can’t help but look at Jill Biden,” she added. “No one knew better his state of mind than Dr. Jill Biden.”
"And if you ask me, the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband [Joe Biden]—to love her husband and not let him run in this mental state that he’s in. I think she failed the country as well."

Campos-Duffy's comments have garnered some serious backlash, with many viewers condemning them as biased and misogynistic. Others were quick to point out the hypocrisy of her criticism, questioning why she never attacked former First Lady Melania Trump for her inaction when President Trump was in office.
Nobody blamed Melania trump for her idiot husband inviting Taliban to Camp David, or his deal to release 5,000 Taliban fighters.Stop trying to blame Jill Biden for what's happening in Afghanistan.August 22, 2021
Dr. Jill Biden's fans also took the opportunity to counteract Campos-Duffy's negative remarks by sharing their appreciation for their First Lady. As well as celebrating her academic achievements, many acknowledged her commitment to helping military veterans and their families over the years.
