Jennifer Aniston wishes pal Courteney Cox a happy birthday with this adorable throwback pic
Friends co-stars and real-life BFF Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox look oh-so-cute in a new Instagram story
Friends are forever, just ask Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox who, nearly three decades after first starring in the hit show Friends together, are still going strong.
Jennifer, who was recently criticized for Monica Lewinsky comments after privileged upbringing, took to social media to wish Courteney a very happy 58th birthday.
"Happy Birthday CC!," the 53-year-old actor wrote in an Instagram story alongside a throwback picture of the two of them from years ago. "I love you so much."
In the next slide, Jennifer opted for a hilarious GIF of Courteney as her Friends character Monica Geller proclaiming, "And I can do anything I want! Because I am a grown up." Under the meme, Jennifer cheekily wrote, "Cheers to being a grown up."
It’s always wonderful when on-screen relationships bleed into real life, especially ones that defined TV history. Who can forget the countless hilarious scenes that Courteney’s Monica and Jennifer’s Rachel Green shared throughout the 10 seasons of Friends?
Although we're sure that the two pals constantly see each other, the last time that fans were treated to a reunion was in April. Back then, Jennifer uploaded a boomerang clip of the two of them wearing matching "Friends Forever" T-shirts while promoting a new merch line that featured iconic moments from the last four seasons of their beloved comedy.

Each shirt also featured six keys meant to symbolize the last scene in the series, during which all six friends leave their keys behind as Monica and her husband Chandler Bing, played by the always-hilarious Matthew Perry, move out of their apartment.

Speaking of Friends: Jennifer has recently gone on the record to admit that the much-awaited Friends reunion was a "sucker punch" to the gut.
"We just had the idea this is going to be so fun, we’re going back to the sets exactly the way they were," Jennifer, who in the past has revealed she felt the need to walk off the Friends reunion set during filming, said in an Actors on Actors interview on Variety alongside fellow artist Sebastian Stan. "And literally, every single nook on a shelf was the same. It was so creepy. But each and every one of us, we walked in, it was just like, 'Oh [...] Time travel.'"
We don’t blame her: The uber-successful show wrapped up after 10 seasons and 236 episodes in 2004. In May of 2021, the original cast reunited for a revival of sorts to be aired on HBO Max. The six main stars took to the set to reminisce about their time on set, also revealing that they had all stayed close throughout the years. That’s certainly bound to be an emotional event… right?
