Janet Street-Porter shows off brand new look on Loose Women
She's arguably one of the more outspoken panellists on Loose Women, but yesterday, Janet Street-Porter instead shocked viewers with a brand new look.
The 71-year-old debuted a new hairstyle, shunning her usual, middle-parting fringe for a sleek, sweeping side fringe.
On most days, the TV star also opts for her normal, shoulder-length, hair-down look. But on yesterday's show, she decided on a chic, layered up-do, prompting fans to wonder if she'd had a drastic cut.
Viewers took to Twitter during and after the show, to praise her new look. One said, 'I love Janet's hair', while another commented, '@The_Real_JSP looks amazing on @loosewomen today!'
Janet certainly stood out on the daytime show, wearing a vibrant purple suit teamed with a pink and orange t-shirt underneath. The presenter completed the look with a matching pair of pink trainers.
The Loose Women panellist has regularly opened up about being comfortable in her own body in the past. Speaking to the Telegraph back in 2015, Janet admited that she only wears clothes she feels comfortable in.
She revealed, "Dress for your shape. Just wear what suits you. I love fashion, but it’s important to keep in mind what works and what doesn’t work for you and your shape. Maybe I’m admitting that I’m old, but I really like comfy clothes.

"I have a telly wardrobe, which means I have a lot of tops, as they usually only show the top half of my body when I’m on television."
In another interview with the Guardian in 2014, she also revealed that her hair is one of her favourite things about herself - but that she won't be going grey as she gets older.
"I love my hair, which looks expensively streaked because of all the grey tones. It's thick, and grows so fast I slather on bright red and aubergine vegetable dye every three weeks for maximum luminosity."
In another interview with the Daily Mail, she admitted, "I certainly am not interested in the natural look, nor should any woman be over the age of 40!"
Janet then went on to reveal her secret to good hair, confessing, "I never wash my own hair - David [hairdresser]comes around once a week and does it in 30 minutes."
