How can you take part in West End Woofs live adoption event?

The virtual event, will be streamed live at 7pm here with performers and celebrities lending their support.

Elaine Paige, is co-hosting with Broadway Barks co-founder Bernadette Peters. She said, “I’m thrilled to be co-hosting Broadway Barks introduces West End Woofs!

"I’m hoping it will become as popular and as successful as it’s been in the USA over the past 22 years.

"As we continue to deal with this dreadful pandemic, we’re turning to our four-legged friends for companionship. So it would be fantastic if we can help as many dogs and cats in the shelters find a safe and secure home.”

Is West End Woof the UK version of Broadway Barks?

Yes. In 1998, Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore co-founded Broadway Barks. The annual star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefits New York City animal and rescue centres. Featuring adorable animals and the Broadway actors who love them, many of these New York City animals find permanent homes. This UK event hopes to do the same for people looking to adopt a new pet, whilst supporting rescue centres.
