It was announced in January 2021 that Sex and the City is returning, with stars set to earn over $1million per episode. Although it was revealed Samantha will be written out of Sex and the City reboot, there has been a lot of excitement about what we might expect from “And just like that…”
So here is a breakdown of everything that you might be wondering about the Sex & the City reboot, from how to watch it anywhere in the world to who is in the cast line up.
Are they rebooting Sex and the City?
Yes! It has been announced that there will be a Sex and the City reboot that will be titled 'And just like that...' The series will be much like the original comedy-drama series that ran from 1998 until 2004 but with a few key changes.
The show will follow on from the 2008 and 2010 films that continued the storylines established in the original series. The makers of the show have also released a teaser trailer on Instagram that gives very little away but announced to fans that a new series was coming.

When is Sex and the City coming back?
The Sex and the City reboot is scheduled to return to HBO Max for 10 half an hour episodes. It has yet to be announced when the series will be released but Deadline did report that filming was set to take place in New York in the Summer of 2021.

Who will be in the Sex and the City reboot?
To fans' delight, It was announced recently that Chris Noth is officially returning as Mr Big in the reboot. It was also revealed that John Corbett who played, fan-favorite love interest, Aidan, is making an appearance in the Sex and the City reboot.
Main cast members Sarah Jessica Parker (who played Carrie), Cynthia Nixon (who played Miranda) and Kristin Davis (who played Charlotte), will also be returning to the show. Kim Cattrall (who played Samantha) will not be returning.
There have been a lot of rumours about who else will be joining the cast and even Heidi Klum had fans asking, 'is Heidi Klum joining the Sex and the City reboot?' as she teased her potential role in the upcoming show.
It was announced that Sara Ramirez, who came to fame as Callie in Grey's Anatomy, will also be joining the cast. Sara will play a non-binary comedian who hosts Carrie Bradshaw on their podcast.
How to watch Sex and the City reboot in the US
In the US the show is expected to air just before the UK and the rest of the world on HBO. In order to watch this series you will need to ensure that your television is able to stream HBO channels or have access to HBO's streaming platform HBO Max.
For US viewers, a subscription is available for $14.99 a month.
How to watch Sex and the City reboot in the UK
HBO Max is not available for viewers in the UK and it has yet to be announced whether this series will be streaming on alternative UK platforms.
It is likely that HBO Max will team up with a UK provider to stream the show. HBO Max recently teamed up with Sky in order to make the Friends Reunion available to stream for a UK audience. HBO may decide to team up with Sky again when it comes to the Sex and the City reboot but nothing has been confirmed yet
