Whether you're living abroad or just going on vacation this autumn, our guide on how to watch Strictly Come Dancing 2022 outside of the UK will tell you everything you need to know about enjoying the BBC reality series from overseas.
It's that time of year again!
Strictly Come Dancing 2022 returns to our screens this month for its 20th series, much to the delight of its devout fanbase. Last year's season was won by Eastenders star Rose Ayling-Ellis, who sailed her way into the finale with partner Giovanni Pernice after being tipped for victory early in the competition.
With just a couple of weeks to go until the first show of the 20th series, fanfare over the Strictly Come Dancing 2022's contestants has already been heating up. This year's cast includes a star-studded lineup of British celebrities, with the likes of Coronation Street's Kym Marsh, Loose Women's Kay Adams, and Paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds OBE all confirmed to take on the iconic dancefloor at the Elstree TV Studios in Hertfordshire this autumn.
Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse will all return as Strictly judges 2022, while Bruno Tolioni has officially been replaced by Anton Du Beke. The panel's expert feedback will once again be mediated by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who have been co-hosting the live shows since Series 8.
In the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth II's death, the release date of Strictly Come Dancing 2022 has been postponed. Its pre-recorded first show was initially due to air on September 17, but will now premiere on Saturday, September 23. The first live show will be broadcast on Sunday, September 24, with the BBC now airing a Paddington movie on September 17 in honor of the late Queen.
