Helen Mirren just became the most relatable star at the SAG Awards
If you weren't obsessed with Helen Mirren before, you will be after this
As if we didn't need another excuse to love Helen Mirren, she just proved she's one of the most relatable stars after her appearance at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Since the show was held virtually this year, the ceremony made time to sit down and talk with some nominees.
During Helen's interview, she gave us more insight into her life with a few hilarious and relatable stories.

Among learning that she is obsessed with the Hulu series PEN15 and lives in Nevada to be closer to nature, the story the internet has gone crazy over is the one when she shooed away a bear.
The official SAG Awards Twitter account shared a snippet of the interview where Helen talked about her love of animals. It was at that point where we learned she was excited to come face-to-face with a bear.
"So I did have a bit of a meeting with a bear," she started. "Yes, I did. I was so excited."

She then went on to describe the interaction saying she told the bear it was "naughty" and proceeded to shoo it away.
"He was a young bear, so I just said, 'No naughty bear, go on, go on, off you go!'" exclaimed Helen.

If that story right there didn't refuel your obsession for the Dame, she also confessed that she has a love/hate relationship with horses.
"I absolutely cannot ride a horse," she said. "Well, there's two problems with horse riding. The first problem is trying to get the horse to move. And then, of course, getting them to stop."

And then there was her theory about what her SAG Award and Oscar get up to when no one is around.
"My theory is that my SAG Award is having a very, very steamy with my Oscar," joked the actress. "I catch them together, and I swear to God I haven't put them together."
But nothing was more relatable than when she talked about a fashion choice she regretted. In the interview, she gets cringes over a past outfit she wore for a photo.
"Oh, you should not be wearing those boots with that short skirt with those legs, Helen," she said. "That was a terrible idea.
Don't worry Helen, we've all made fashion choices we regret, but hey, clothes come back in style eventually, right?
