How many episodes of Grey's Anatomy season 19 will there be?
Six episodes of season 19 have been confirmed to air between October and November. It was revealed that the season will air from 2022 to 2023 so there are certainly more episodes expected. It was also revealed that Ellen Pompeo will appear in the show at a limited capacity, in only 8 episodes of the season.
This suggests that while only 6 episodes and their release date have been confirmed so far, fans can expect more than 6 episodes for the nineteenth season.
How long has Grey's Anatomy been on TV?
Grey's Anatomy first began airing in 2005! The medical drama has lasted for seventeen years and nineteen seasons and as of February 2019, it was the longest-running American prime time medical drama series.
Is season 19 the last season of Grey's Anatomy?
Fans have speculated for some time now that season nineteen will be the final installment of Grey's Anatomy - and the lead character's reduced appearance in the season has added weight to this claim.
A twentieth season of the show has yet to be confirmed by producers so it is entirely possible that the nineteenth season of the show will be the last. But for now, this is still just a rumor and it is unclear when or how the show will end.
