George and Amal Clooney shut down claims they're expecting a baby, four years after welcoming twins
George and Amal Clooney are already proud parents to twins Alexander and Ella
George and Amal Clooney have shut down rumours they're expecting their third child, four years after the devoted couple welcomed their twins.
Film legend George Clooney and his wife Amal are undoubtedly one of Hollywood’s power couples, inspiring fans across the world. The couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony back in September 2014 in Venice, just under a year after it's understood they first started dating. Since then, their love story has gone from strength to strength and earlier this year, the Ocean’s Eleven star spoke out about keeping the romance alive with Amal during lockdown.
Whilst George and Amal look set to enjoy some French sunshine as they have recently purchased a gorgeous new home in Provence, there were reports that the couple were preparing to share it with a very exciting new arrival in the coming months and it was reported that the couple are expecting their third child.
According to OK! US, a source alleged, “The buzz is they’re having twins again. Amal’s said to be past her first trimester, and she’s already starting to show, so soon enough, everyone will know.”
Whilst the insider also claimed that George and Amal had already shared the news with their loved ones during an intimate party held near their stunning Lake Como Villa in early July.
"George was giddy with excitement and couldn’t wait to tell everyone," the source said, adding that the news was reportedly "met with well-wishes all around” and that “George was so proud, and Amal was glowing.”
It’s said that the couple’s twins, Alexander and Ella, have also been told the so-called baby news and are “thrilled” about becoming big siblings.

“Ella’s been begging for a baby sister, so they’re all hoping for at least one little girl,” the insider went on to allege. “But, of course, they’ll be happy either way, as long as the babies are healthy.”
Now however, the couple have denied the claims with a short but clear statement from a representative.
"Stories saying that Amal Clooney is pregnant are not true."
George and Amal Clooney welcomed their twins four years ago and the actor previously revealed their arrival changed his perspective on everything.
Opening up in a GQ cover story last year, he explained, “I'd never been in the position where someone else's life was infinitely more important to me than my own. You know?" he said. "And then tack on two more individuals, who are small and have to be fed."
And it's not just Alexander and Ella who has changed things for the A-list star. George also delightedly shared just how meeting human rights lawyer Amal transformed his world, saying, “I was like, 'I'm never getting married. I'm not gonna have kids.' … I'm gonna work, I've got great friends, my life is full, I'm doing well. And I didn't know how un-full it was until I met Amal."
“And then everything changed. And I was like, 'Oh, actually, this has been a huge empty space’,” he powerfully declared.
