Emma Stone’s baby girl’s name has a very significant meaning

Emma Stone has recently given birth to a daughter, it has just been revealed that she has named her child a special name that has a sentimental meaning to the star.

In January, Emma Stone announced that she was expecting her first baby with husband Dave McCary. The couple welcomed their first daughter in March of 2021 but have remained very private about their newborn, and it was only recently revealed that their child was a daughter.

It has now been revealed by TMZ that the couple has named their child Louise Jean McCary. This sweet name is of particular significance to Emma Stone, who shares the same middle name as her daughter. Emma's real name is Emily Jean Stone and now she and her daughter have an adorable connection through their middle names.

TMZ reported that as well as giving her daughter her middle name, Emma has also named her daughter Louise Jean in a heartwarming tribute to her great-grandmother. TMZ state, “We're told that the baby's middle name is a tribute to Emma's grandmother, Jean Louise ... so her daughter's name is a flip-flop of her great grandma's,”—how cute!

Emma and Dave announced their engagement via Instagram in December 2019. Dave posted an image of his now-wife's hand with an engagement ring on it as they smiled happily for the camera. The two looked adorable and were married in 2020 the next year in a private ceremony.

It is believed that the two met years before in 2016 when Emma Stone hosted Saturday Night Live. Dave McCary, directed her 'Well for Boys' sketch and the adorable couple has been linked ever since.

Recently Emma has been promoting her new, high-anticipated Disney film, Cruella. In this film, Emma plays the infamous dog-napping villain Cruella DeVil. The plot of this film focuses on the villain's early life and shows how the aspiring fashion designer Estella de Vil transformed into the cut-throat Cruella.

The Los Angeles film premiere for this movie was the first public event that Emma Stone has attended since becoming a mother. The star looked gorgeous in a tailored black suit and white pussy-bow blouse. 

Emma also wore subtle accessories that paid homage to her villainous character as a dagger-shaped brooch adorned her collar. She also wore red nail varnish and red accessories to complement her character's classic wardrobe of black, white, and red.
