Emma Corrin and Harry Styles pictured on set for '50s LBQT+ drama My Policeman—and we're very excited
We cannot get enough of these new photos from the set of My Policeman...
Emma Corrin and Harry Styles have been photographed on the set of their new film My Policeman, and we can already tell that this film is going to be our next period drama obsession.
My Policeman is based on the book of the same name by Bethan Roberts and already looks like one of the best book-to-movie adaptations this year. Starring Emma Corrin, who we all fell in love with as Princess Diana in The Crown, and Harry Styles, who we also fell in love with many years ago, this film looks like it’s going to be a smash hit.
The first images from set have been released and have show Emma in full period gear as she dresses in character as Marion Burgess. The actress looked excited as she donned a thick puffer jacket over her period costume. The star wore natural looking make-up and carried a hot water bottle to keep herself warm between scenes. She also wore a light brown wig and a blue hat that matched her accessories.
Fans also finally got to look at Harry Styles in full period costume as he wore a 1950’s police uniform for his role as Tom Burgess. The star looked like a dapper proper copper in a closely fitting police uniform with a dated matching hat.
Harry was also pictured with co-star David Dawson, who plays Harry’s love interest Patrick Hazelwood in this film. David Dawson, who came to fame for his roles in The Last Kingdom and The Year of the Rabbit, wore a classic 1950’s ensemble with grey high and wide leg trousers, a mustard yellow roll neck top, and a brown oversized zip-up jacket.
Fans were extremely excited to catch a first glimpse of this new film and many took to social media to share their delight. One fan joked and referenced Harry Styles’ iconic Grammy look by stating, “You just know there is a feather boa lurking under his policeman’s uniform.” Another fan said, “obsessed with Emma Corrin and Harry Styles so ‘My Policeman’ is gonna be my highlight of the decade.”
In this film, Emma Corrin and Harry Styles play married couple Tom and Marion who are caught in a love triangle with Tom’s lover Patrick, played by David Dawson. The film will also feature Rupert Everett as Patrick in his later life. Gina McKee will play an older Marion and Linus Roache will play an older Tom.

The film hasn't got a release date but Amazon Studios have bought the rights to the movie. This could mean that the film could go straight to streaming platforms, but nothing has been confirmed just yet. In any case, we are extremely excited to say this film and we can't wait to see the stars in action!
