Eamonn Holmes reveals he's launching his own podcast focused on one of his biggest passions
The presenter has entered the podcast world!
Presenter Eamonn Holmes is known for his work on This Morning, alongside wife Ruth Langsford, but now he’s taking to the airwaves on a brand new project.
One of his biggest passions in life is football, so Eamonn Holmes has launched his very own podcast, which will cover a variety of figures involved in the sport.
It’s called A Pint with Eamonn Holmes and the Gaffers, and sees the presenter sitting down for a drink with some legendary football managers across various pubs in the country.
The podcast is sponsored by beer brand Heineken, who also does an alcohol-free version that Eamonn drinks during recordings.
During their time with Eamonn, well-known football managers (or 'Gaffers') open up about their careers, different players, as well as what they consider to be ‘unforgettable’ experiences in British football.
Speaking about the inspiration behind his podcast, he said, “I'm passionate about football and have so many memories of watching the big matches in the pub.”
Eamonn added, “Sharing a pint with some of the men who were in charge of the teams was such an honour. They offered so much insight to their careers – plus some big opinions on the current Premier League season too.

“I really hope this new podcast helps unite football fans in their love of the game and reminds them how much fun it can be watching the big matches down the local."
The presenter has revealed a clip from his first episode, with Martin O’Neill, which was recorded at The Chandos Arms in Colindale.

Eamonn loves watching football in the pub so much, that he’s revealed it’s his all-time favourite place to watch the game. Praising pub culture, he said, “There really is no place like the Great British pub.”
He added, “It's a unique place where people have come together for hundreds of years and is a place where memories, and now podcasts, are made. It's also the place where we tend to be the most vocal about our teams and their rivals. So, where better to sit down for a chat with some of the biggest names in the game?”
A Pint with Eamonn Holmes and the Gaffers is available on Spotify, iTunes and other podcast providers.
