Dancing With The Stars pro Cheryl Burke has revealed she tested positive for COVID-19. The pro shared her, "difficult news," with her Instagram followers. The dancer also spoke of her sadness for her dancing partner Cody Rigsby.

Dancing With The Stars Season 2021 has only just kicked off and this news is sure to be a blow.

"The PCR test came back, and it came back positive," Cheryl said through tears in a heartbreaking video. "I feel so bad for Cody. I feel like I'm letting him down. I just feel like s**t, to be quite honest. And it's so overwhelming because it's Sunday, and the show's tomorrow."

"I figured I should let you guys know since I've been as open and as real and vulnerable as I could be here," she continued. "I just hope I didn't spread it. For those of you who don't think COVID is a real thing, it's f*****g real, dude. So I have to quarantine for 10 days and I've been ordered to stay home … I'll be in bed. I can't believe this happened."

The crushing news isn't the only bad news for the hit dancing competition as Dancing with the Stars fans, outraged over season 30 changes, have taken to social media to vent their frustrations.

It all boils down to the show's new host Tyra Banks. Some viewers are calling for previous co-hosts, Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, to return. "I will not watch with Tyra still on the show!!!" wrote one fan.

Another said, "8 minutes in and Tyra Banks is already annoying as hell."

Cheryl and her partner hit the dance floor for the first time last week, dancing the tango to Dua Lipa's hit song Physical. The Dancing With The Stars judges, Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough awarded them 24 points out of 40 for their rendition.

The first week's top scorers were the first-ever same-sex pairing, Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson. During the premiere, the duo danced a quick step to Jet's hit song, Are You Gonna Be My Girl, which gained them a score of 29 out of 40.

Of course, not everyone does their best on the first night and Karate Kid star Martin Kove and Britt Stewart landed a score of 13 out of 40 points—one of the lowest scores in Dancing with the Stars history.
