Courteney Cox surprised fans by photobombing them and the result is too funny
Friends star Courteney Cox shocked fans at the iconic fountain from the popular TV show
Imagine meeting the one-and-only Courteney Cox - now imagine seeing her at the iconic fountain seen in the opening credits of Friends, the popular TV show that the actor successfully starred in for ten seasons.
That's exactly what happened to a bunch of lucky fans when Courteney, who recently admitted that her daughter gets "really embarrassed" by her sometimes, photobombed their pictures during a visit to the Warner Brox. Studio in California where the iconic series was filmed.
The 58-year-old actor posted a video compilation of her "pranks" to her Instagram account. Fair warning: the whole shindig is actually hilarious.
"I am working at Warner Brothers and I thought this is a good time for me to surprise Friends' fans and photobomb their shots," Courteney says at the beginning of the clip, right before she hides behind the legendary and instantly recognizable orange couch, placed right in front of the just-as-famous fountain that is also featured in the opening credits of the show.

In the video, a number of different fans are then shocked to notice that their pictures feature Courteney in the background. One visitor even exclaims, "It's Monica!," after seeing the photo, referring to the actor's character on Friends.
The clip, which the celebrity captioned "Don't you hate a photo bomber? #friends," concludes with a group shot of all the featured fans in front of the fountain with Courteney right behind them.
Fans and fellow celebrities took to Instagram to comment on the pretty funny happening. Pal Jennifer Garner commented, "You cutie patootie, @courteneycoxofficial xxx." Actor David Spade simply noted, "Very cool" while Mira Sorvino went a step further, writing, "This is effin' amazing."

Friends first premiered on NBC in 1994, quickly becoming a beloved sitcom that ended up running for ten seasons, officially wrapping up in 2004.
In May of 2021, all cast members - Courteney, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer - appeared on screen together once more for a reunion special that aired on HBO Max and was hosted by James Corden. In the special, all actors revisited the set of the original show, discussing life since the production ended and revealing some hilarious secrets from years past.
The production earned praise for its candid nature - a fact that undoubtedly contributed to Jennifer's need to walk off the Friends reunion set back then.
But back to Courteney: the mother-of-one's top-notch photobombing and acting skills aren't her only areas of expertise. In fact, last year, Courtney Cox revealed hidden talent in surprise Natasha Bedingfield collab. In a video posted on her own Instagram account, Courteney is seen effortlessly playing the piano along to Natasha's powerhouse vocals belting out her hit 2004 song Unwritten, with guitarist Rod Castro joining in on the fun.
