Britney Spears worries fans with update on children in ‘creepy’ baby doll video
Britney Spears posted a strange video dancing with a baby doll on Wednesday
Britney Spears has left fans concerned for her wellbeing after sharing a video of her dancing with a baby doll—the latest in a string of worrying posts amid her ongoing conservatorship case.
The American pop star sparked speculation over her plans for future children on Wednesday, after introducing a baby doll named ‘Brennan’ to her 35m Instagram followers. The unsettling clip, which comes just a week after Britney posed nude for a birthday suit photoshoot in the Pacific, appears to have been taken at her Thousand Oaks mansion in California.
In the video, Britney, who has two kids with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, can be seen bobbing the toy’s head while smiling directly at the camera. She accompanied the video with a text image saying, “Being an adult is the dumbest thing I have ever done.”
The unsettling update comes amidst confusion over whether or not Britney is free from her conservatorship, after celebrating a major triumph in the complicated court case last week.

This is possibly a reference to her conservatorship, which she has alleged restricts her right to reproduce. The recently emerged details of Britney’s forced IUD left the public stunned, prompting widespread support for her campaign towards personal and financial freedom.
The message could also just be a nod to her youthful nature, having been described as ‘goofy’ by those close to her in the past.
“Seriously … growing up is the dumbest thing you’ll ever do so PLAY ON MY FRIENDS,” she added.
While Britney’s fans have been consistently gushing of almost everything she does, it seems this latest post has left many feeling worried for the legendary pop star's mental health.
“Am I the only person whose gut is telling me something is seriously wrong?” one concerned follower wrote.
“I’m happy you’re free but things are lookin a lil funny now…😵💫🥴,” another person wrote.
Britney’s disheveled physical appearance also garnered attention, fueling speculation that things aren’t okay. An eagle-eyed fan was quick to point out a flaw in the singer’s pink sweater, which didn’t seem to be positioned on her body properly.
“Her shirt is inside out and the plastic hanger grip is around her collar bone. What the what?” they wrote.
Many fans raised concerns about her fiancé, Sam Asghari, who is believed to have captured the video.
“This guy is setting her up....,” one person said, echoing the sentiments of another follower, “Is it Sam who’s encouraging her to post this?” Britney Spears’ engagement to Sam has prompted warnings from celebrities and fans alike, with almost all her supporters urging her to sign a prenup before the wedding.
Who are Britney Spears’ children?
Britney Spears has two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, from her previous marriage to ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The Everytime singer lost custody of the boys in 2008 when she was placed under her now-infamous conservatorship and has yet to regain full access to them. The teenagers reportedly spend most of their time with their father, while Britney currently holds 30% unsupervised visitation rights to them.
She has shared the occasional family photo with Sean and Jayden with her fans over the years, with the most one capturing a wholesome hike in March 2021.

“I’m extremely lucky because my two babies are such gentleman and so kind that I must have done something right 🙊 !!!! I haven’t posted pictures of them for some time cause they’re at the age where they want to express their own identities and I totally get it,” she wrote.
It’s been reported that Britney wants to achieve the 50/50 custody she shared with Kevin Federline before it was removed in 2019 after an alleged altercation between her father, Jamie, and youngest son, Jayden.
