Bridgerton has been an absolute hit since it hit Netflix on Christmas Day.

The steamy series, based on Julia Quinn's bestselling novels, starring Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor, has been all anyone has talked about since it hit the streaming service.

In fact the Netflix drama has had viewers hooked from the very first episode. The series has had 63 million downloads since its release and has reached the no.1 slot in 10 countries.

And now the director's assistant, Barnaby Boulton, has delighted fans by sharing a string of behind-the-scenes photographs, as rumours continue to swirl about whether there will be a second series of Bridgerton.

If you think you recognise some of the cast of Bridgerton, it might be because this is where you've seen them before.

Including the show's leading lady, Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor - the daughter of Coronation Street actress, Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Webster.

With Bridgerton having become renowned for its steamy sex scenes, renamed 'Regencycore' in the latest online trend, Regé-Jean Page recently revealed he had to have an awkward conversation with his family before they tuned in.

The actor, who plays the Duke of Hastings, told his family via Whatsapp. But forgot to tell one of his cousins.

Opening up on The Tonight Show, he said, "We missed one of my cousins. She sent me a message that was like, 'I had to make so many tactical cups of tea during the show.' She said, 'I came back, and you were still going, so I had to go back and put the kettle back on'."

Regé-Jean has gained two million followers on Instagram since his Bridgerton appearance and has even been rumours to be the next James Bond.

We'd definitely tune in!
