Askew—Wordle fans are frustrated by another difficult challenge
The word 'askew' has frustrated a number of Wordle players who have sworn off of the game after yet another tricky challenge
The word 'askew' has infuriated a number of Wordle players who have been unable to work out this fiendish challenge from the game makers at the New York Times.
Recent challenges from Wordle such as 'foray,' 'lowly' and 'foyer' have confused fans who are becoming more and more frustrated by the word challenges that are appearing on the game.
Wordle 310 on April 25, 2022, was much like some of the other more difficult challenges and fans were disappointed when many of them failed to solve the word 'askew.' Many players took to social media to complain about this most recent challenge.
"Just failed wordle for the first time, lost my 100% record and my 65-day winning streak.. wtf does the word 'askew' even mean," asked one distraught fan.
"F**k your 'Askew' wordle. Never playing it again f**k you," said another furious fan.
"Wordle 310 X/6 Never used that word before. Bleh. Learnt something new," said another fan who failed to solve the puzzle.
"Wordle 310 X/6 ended my 111-day wordle streak. retiring for good," said another.

Others noticed a fun google feature after they googled the word 'askew.' One player wrote on Twitter, "Had to explain this morning's Wordle meaning to my 6-year-old and #google did this! Thought my phone was broken."
The commenter then posted an image of google which was suddenly lopsided on the screen after the player googled the word 'askew.'
