Aldi's affordable new champagne rosé is perfect for summer

Yes - Aldi has done it again.

We regularly rely on the budget store to provide us with affordable skincare, fabulous home buys, and impressive Christmas hampers.

But ahead of what will (hopefully) be a sunny summer, they've released a brand new alcoholic beverage, and we predict it'll be our new favourite.

Aldi have just launched a new Veuve Monsigny Champagne Rosé, which will be available for the very affordable price of £16.99 for a 75cl bottle.

The combination of a dry rosé and bubbly champagne will likely make for a ideal, crisp summer drink, perfect to be enjoyed during hazy evenings in the back garden.

Aldi advise that the rosé is best served chilled, and customers hoping to pick up a bottle can expect red fruit flavours and hints of citrus, creating a well balanced flavour.

As with all rosé's, it'll go best with fish or white meat, if you're looking to try it over an al fresco dinner.

And it seems the Champagne Rosé already has some delighted fans. On Aldi's website, some have already reviewed the tipple, with one satisfied customers saying, 'Unbelievable quality and price.:.genuinely better than famous brand that costs double and more'. High praise indeed!

Another happy shopper commented, 'A great value smooth and creamy pink champagne. None of the steeliness of others which are twice this price and it is eminently drinkable!'

As a fourth, agreeing, saing, 'This has now become my favourite Champagne. It is exquisite and very reasonably priced. I have never been a fan of the pink Champagnes but it tastes better than a lot of other rosé Champagnes that I have tasted. A premium quality Champagne!'

If you're keen to get your hands on a bottle, you can pop to your local store, or order a bottle online here.

On the Aldi website, you can also pick up a case of 6 bottles of the stuff for £101.94, or a crate of 12 for £203.88, if you're planning any parties in the near future.
