Fans think AJ Pritchard accidentally revealed MASSIVE Strictly Come Dancing spoiler

The Strictly 2019 couples have not yet been revealed, but AJ may have let slip who he’ll be dancing with in the upcoming series.

As we count down the days before Strictly returns to our screens, we’re happy for any titbits of information on the new series.

While plenty of Strictly fans have been guessing which professional dancer will be paired with which celebrity, they may have to guess no more as AJ Pritchard may have accidentally revealed who he’ll be dancing with in September.

On Tuesday’s (27 August) The One Show, the 24-year old heavily hinted at who his celebrity partner while discussing the launch of Strictly 2019.

“I’ve been in the semi final three years in a row. As they say, fourth year’s a charm,” AJ said of his hopes to reach the final this year, adding: “Straight to the final. I’ve got so many show ideas but it’s never happened for me just yet.

“I think Saffron… we can make it to the final. There it is. I’ve thrown it out there.”

Following his slip up, Strictly fans now firmly believe that AJ will be paired up with YouTube star Saffron Barker, who was announced on the Strictly line-up earlier this month.

Twitter users were quick to comment on AJ’s big reveal, with one writing: ‘Why is AJ talking like he’s got Saffron and they’re gonna win?? Have I missed something?’

‘AJ definitely hoping for Saffron. They’d be a good match actually,’ a second commented, while a third added, ‘AJ just said him and saffron can make it to the final on the one show and I am: confused.’

The news comes after AJ’s younger brother Curtis, who recently starred on Love Island, mentioned that YouTube star Saffron Barker would be the perfect partner for AJ.

“Saffron. I think he’d be fantastically suited. Height is an important thing. Obviously if you’re doing ballroom you don’t want a women who is a lot taller than you.” Curtis said of the 19-year-old YouTuber, who's a petite 5'2".
