Adele drops 'I Drink Wine' music video teaser after promising 'campest thing you've ever seen'
Adele has shared a preview of her new music video, 'I Drink Wine', revealing she's 'excited' for fans' reaction to the 'hilarious' production
Adele has teased the music video for 'I Drink Wine' ahead of her highly-anticipated Las Vegas residency, nearly a year after promising fans it would be the 'campest thing' they'd ever see.
The British superstar took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a short preview of the sultry song's video, revealing she's 'excited' for its official premiere later today.
"The I Drink Wine video was the first one I shot for this album," the 34-year-old captioned the post. "And it’s finally coming out tomorrow!! I’m excited for you to see it and I can’t wait to see some of you tonight!"
While Adele's Oh My God music video sparked deep nostalgia for her devout fanbase, it looks like the visual accompaniment for 'I Drink Wine' will be a lot more lighthearted.
In the 14-second clip, a mysterious man can be seen playing piano on a bridge over a sunset river. A figure that appears to be Adele wearing a dazzling outfit then emerges on a boat, only for the screen to go black. Fans have already had quite the reaction to the dreamy sneak peek, with many taking to Twitter to share their delight.

"I'm SO excited and I'm sure it will be amazing!!" one supportive person commented, while another simply wrote, "Love you Adele, can't wait to see it."
Others celebrated by cracking open a bottle of wine and enjoying a glass in honor of their favorite artist.

The exciting update comes just a few days after Adele nailed fall glamor with a black roll-neck dress and sleek matching clutch for date night with her boyfriend, Rich Paul. Other than a few sightings in California over the past few weeks, the English singer has been keeping a low-key profile as she prepares to head to Vegas for her rescheduled residency next month.
Adele first spoke about the music video for 'I Drink Wine' last December, admitting it's just "f**king hilarious" and even predicting it could inspire some hardcore fans' costumes this Halloween.
"It's the campest thing you'll ever see," she Nikkie de Jager of the beauty Youtube channel, NikkieTutorials. "I feel like everyone might be dressed up on Halloween for it next year. There are just so many funny parts of it!" Adele also said she 'realized' that she was 'making a lot of progress' while writing the lyrics for 'I Drink Wine', which explores her experience of letting go after her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki.
'I Drink Wine' is the third single to be released from Adele's 30 album, succeeding her highly successful first two singles, 'Easy on Me' and 'Oh My God'.
The release of the music video comes just a few weeks before Adele's Las Vegas residency kicks off, nearly a full year after it was postponed at the last minute due to COVID-related delays. The concert series will see the Grammy-winner perform live at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace from November 18 to March 25, with the star expecting to jet back and forth between her home in California and the concerts in Nevada every weekend.
