Kate Garraway rocks a retro look in bright yellow with an inspiring message to fans
Kate Garraway looks cool and collected on her way to work
Kate Garraway looked like a ray of sunshine in a bright yellow slogan top and flared jeans on her way to work.
Pictured on her way to the Global Radio studios to present her show on Smooth Kate exuded happiness by wearing a bright yellow top with the word ‘happy’ written across it. She paired it with her best jeans—a cool flared pair that give off serious retro vibes.
Making the casual look even cooler, the presenter arrived at the radio station on the back of a motorbike and unveiled the outfit after taking off a thick coat and motorbike helmet.
Kate styled her outfit with a military-style navy coat with large brass buttons. She also wore boots and a tan handbag to complete the look. A disposable medical face mask ensured she was COVID-safe for her shift at the radio station.
Although she looked radiant and exuded positive energy with her bright outfit and ‘Happy’ slogan, Kate has mentioned recently that she has been struggling to sleep well.
She previously joked with co-host Ben Shephard, “I did say to our team please could you put some extra sugar in my coffee this morning, I am going to need it. I haven't had a lot of sleep, the hair has exploded, and it’s going to be a fun morning for you, Ben.”
Kate opened up in January about ‘struggling’ with the ‘torture’ of homeschooling kids without Derek. Her husband Derek was hospitalized in March 2020 with Covid-19, and put into a medically induced coma.

In the past few weeks, Kate has also been involved in some fiery debates while hosting Good Morning Britain. Kate delivered a passionate speech after a Covid-19 passport row divided guests on the show. The topic hit close to home, as Kate spoke emotionally about the sacrifices that everyone is making at the moment because of the pandemic. She touched on not being able to visit loved ones in hospital, which is the position she and her children are currently in.
