Jamie Lee Curtis uses popcorn for earphones in hilarious tech mishap
Jamie Lee Curtis was a bit confused when her popcorn earphones wouldn't work.

Jamie Lee Curtis found herself in the midst of a hilarious technical mix-up this week - and we’re still cracking up at the blunder.
The Freaky Friday star, who recently shared her addiction battle with fans, took to Instagram yesterday to disclose a slightly simpler struggle - mistaking popcorn for earbuds.
Jamie Lee sent fans into hysterics after she posted a photo of a popcorn kernel slotted neatly in her ear. “So I'm definitely over this whole isolation thing,” she captioned the bizarre image.
The Hollywood actor had accidentally placed the piece of popcorn into her ear, confusing it for one of her AirPods. It was only when the salty puff failed to play any sound that Jamie realized her error.

“I picked up my ear pod and put it in my ear and was trying to figure out why I couldn't hear,” she wrote, adding a popcorn emoji to the admission.
In Jamie’s defence, if there was ever a culinary treat to mirror an AirPod, it’s probably popcorn. The white morsel doesn’t look out of place with a squint of the eye (or if you’re standing a socially distanced two metres away.)

Fans of the star were highly entertained by the accident, with many praising Jamie for her unbeatable humour.
“Funniest pic I seen all day, I love you Jamie. Thank you for making my night,” one follower posted.
Others found the picture unnervingly relatable. “Oh Lawd.....My daughter keeps telling me she'll 'Put me in a home!' whenever I do or say something that annoys or makes her roll her eyes. I'm pretty sure doing that would probably get me closer to her goal,” an exasperated mother responded.
Jamie’s fellow celebrities also chimed in on the banter, with actors Melanie Griffith and Jennifer Grey expressing their amusement over their friend’s dazed mishap.
We can’t say we’ll be swapping our AirPods for popcorn any time soon, but at least we know where to look if we’re ever in desperate need of some quick-and-easy earbuds.
