Grey's Anatomy and a load of other shows are coming to Disney+
Disney+ launches new site Star with hundreds of new films and TV shows to binge
Disney+ has just purchased the streaming license for a load of amazing new shows, including Grey’s Anatomy. The site is definitely not just for kids anymore. Here’s what’s coming soon.
Disney+ launched over a year ago at the end of 2019 and holds every Disney and Pixar animation and all the Marvel universe movies. In short, the site is the perfect platform for a family movie.
Disney+ is also perfect for anyone after a bit of nostalgia viewing. With the Hannah Montana series, and a host of old Disney channel TV shows, the platform had a lot to offer — but it was most definitely a platform for kids.
But not anymore.

It looks like from February on, we will all have to be couch potatoes, and I’m not mad about that. We’re inside anyway — bring on the binge-watching! I’m a willing potato!
Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cougar Town, Desperate Housewives, Modern Family, and Scandal are just some of the binge-worthy series that will be launching next month. All of these are choc-a-bloc with season after season to ensure that you stay glued to your couch.
But it's not just series that Star will have, oh no; the platform is releasing a load of amazing films too.
Iconic movies such as The Devil Wears Prada, John Tucker Must Die, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Just Married, Moulin Rouge, The Other Woman, There's Something About Mary, and William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet will also launch on the site. But pace yourself- otherwise, you'll be in for an emotional rollercoaster.
Disney+ have also facilitated a Julia Roberts marathon as they have launched a load of her classic movies. So get ready to cry as you watch everyone's favorite 80's on-screen couple, Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride.
Disney also has Julia's suspense-thriller film Sleeping with the Enemy, which will be the perfect film to rewire your heart after watching all that sentimental romance.
A variety of action movies will also be launched on Star. Braveheart, Independence Day, Die Hard 2, Die Hard with a Vengence, and a Good Day to Die Hard will all be released alongside a whole host of other action flicks.
In total, the site is launching more than 270 films and over 75 TV shows. So buckle up and get ready to binge!
