Chrissy Teigen calls out John Legend for forgetting to thank her after Grammy win
Chrissy Teigen had some harsh words for her husband after he failed to thank her in his Grammy acceptance message
Chrissy Teigan has called out John Legend for neglecting to acknowledge her after his Grammy victory last night.
The model-turned-entrepreneur wasn’t too pleased when her husband omitted her name from his acceptance speech - and was quick to let him know.
This year's ceremony saw lower attendance than ever before due to coronavirus travel restrictions, but that didn't stop music fans everywhere from tuning in to watch online. The night was marked by plenty of exciting moments, including Beyonce's quadruple Grammy win and shock that Harry Styles' Grammy acceptance speech was bleeped.
Unable to attend the LA-based event in person, John took to Instagram after he was awarded the 2021 Grammy for Best R&B Album for Bigger Love to thank his producers and collaborators for their contribution to its success.
“We all worked hard to make this album and then promote it during a global pandemic,” he told his 13.5m followers. “It wasn’t an ideal situation but we made the best of it and hopefully gave the world some music that helped make their days and nights a little better. Love you all!”

He also gave a special shout-out to his 'big brother' Raphael Saadiq, the executive producer on the high-acclaimed album.

Unfortunately, his post didn’t go down too well with an even closer family member - his wife. Chrissy had some choice words for her spouse of seven years after she noticed his failure to mention her in his thank-you message.
"this motherf--ker," the cookbook author wrote on Twitter. "helloooo?? caption!!!!"

It seems it didn't take long for John to get the hint. Just two hours later, he took to his own social media accounts to publicly express his love for Chrissy.
"I love you Chrissy Teigen! Thank you for inspiring me every single day," he wrote in the heartfelt post. He also shared the couple's celebrations with his fans, treating them to a glimpse of their culinary activities.

The glamorous duo also marked the occasion with some enviable outfits, bringing the red carpet to their New York penthouse. Chrissy paired a black fitted fringe dress with transparent ballgown gloves and a Tyler Ellis clutch, while John kept it slightly more casual in a velvet Versace robe.
