Before becoming a bestselling author, Karen Swan was a fashion journalist. Now, 19 successful books later, she lives in Sussex with her husband, three children and two dogs.
Karen's latest book The Hidden Beach transports us to the historic city of Stockholm and the beautiful archipelagos of the Swedish coast, where Bell Everhurst is working as a nanny for affluent couple, Hannah and Max. Looking after three children, life is ticking along, until Bell receives a call to say Hannah’s first husband has woken up from his coma, sending shockwaves through the family.
A story of forgiveness, letting go and second chances, along with well-developed characters and that gorgeous Swedish setting, it's a perfect summer-read.
