With weeks on end at home and gyms across the country closed until at least July, we’ve all been getting into at-home workouts.

And with so much technology at our beck and call to help us out, it’s never been easier for us to do.

At-home workout apps, YouTube tutorials and even live video sessions have been keeping us all fit while we’ve been stuck in the house in lockdown.

It’s even been a great time for those who have previously been relatively sedentary to try out some slow fitness sessions, as a lot of us have had a bit of extra time on our hands.

So we’re loving this five-star at-home fitness app that we can currently try out for absolutely free.

Peloton app: Everything you need to know

For anyone who has heard of Peloton, you will probably know only of its spinning classes and virtual cycling workouts.

The fitness regime took the world by storm when it launched and became a popular option over the last few years.

But the Peloton app offers so much more than just cyling, and you don't even need to buy any equipment to take advantage of it.

The Peloton fitness app comes complete with thousands of workout videos covering all different categories, including strength, cardio, running and walking, cycling, bootcamp, yoga and meditation and even a section for outdoor workouts.

Each category has numerous options to choose from, with workout lengths ranging from five minutes to half an hour and loads of really enthusiastic and encouraging fitness instructors.

And most of the workouts are set to fun and diverse playlists, with the music genre displayed on the info so that users can decide whether it’s for them or not before the workout begins.

‘Peloton covers all aspects of fitness of the body and mind, in a fun, motivating and communal way. I look forward to using it daily, and ever since I've gotten it, I have enjoyed exercise!’.

Perfect for me!’ added another. ‘I’ve only just started using this app, I purchased the subscription a few days ago, and I LOVE it!

‘I travel all the time and I’m constantly staying in hotels, I really wanted something that would make it easier/more exciting to workout in the hotel gym. This does just that!

‘I am motivated to workout everyday. I actually don’t own any equipment, so when I’m not traveling I use the body weight workouts and the audio running to keep up with my routine’.

Peloton membership and price

Available on Apple, Android, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV and Android, the app is currently offering a 30-day Peloton free trial so that users can try it out before committing.

And if you love it as much as we do, it will cost only £12.99 per month afterwards if you want to stick to it.

This has just made our lockdown go by that little bit quicker!
