We've gone right back to basics and found dessert recipes that need just 3 ingredients (or fewer). They're so quick, simple and hassle-free that they'll be ready in no time, usually with ingredients that you'll already have in the fruit bowl, freezer or storecupboard.
Of course, there are a lot more easy dessert recipes where these came from, but you won't find any that are simpler than these. These desserts won't fail to impress but are ready in minutes so you can't go wrong.
1. Toffee waffle ice cream wafers
What could be easier than these toffee waffle ice cream wafers? You'll need only 2 ingredients to recreate the classic ice cream sandwich so there's no reason to not give them a go. Serve with an espresso as an after dinner treat.
2. Instant frozen berry sorbet
This instant frozen berry sorbet is the right balance of sweet and tart and is the perfect end to a big meal. And yes, you'll only need 3 ingredients! You can quite easily make it with whatever berries are in season, or use the frozen variety year roun.
3. S'mores dunk 'n' dip
this delicious campfire treat is sure to be popular with the whole family. All you'll need are some chocolate chips, lots of marshmallows and a few biscuits. 4. Iced berries with a hot white chocolate sauce
Hot and cold come together perfectly in the form of these iced berries with a hot white chocolate sauce. Such a simple dessert, but it works wonderfully and you'll keep going back to it. All you'll need is double cream, white chocolate and frozen fruit.
5. Elderflower jellies with fresh raspberries
Can you believe these elderflower jellies with fresh raspberries are made with only 3 ingredients? You could easily serve these individual puds as a dinner party dessert - and no one would guess how simple they really are!
6. Ice cream waffle sandwiches
These ice cream waffle sandwiches can be made in so many different variations. Choose your favourite ice cream and nuts to coat them with, and if you have friends over you can make them in different combinations.
7. Caramel apple slice
This deliciously warming caramel apple slice makes the perfect winter pud. If you're willing to go beyond the three ingredients rule this would be especially delicious if served with thick double cream or a scoop of your favourite ice cream. 8. Banana ice cream
Unbelievably, Deliciously Ella's banana ice cream is made with just ONE ingredient! It's super healthy with no added sugar. It really couldn't be easier to make but will satisfy that sweet tooth if you're having a craving.
9. Vegan chocolate ice cream
Here's another quick and easy healthy ice cream - and it's vegan, too. Simply whizz together a handful of frozen bananas with a spoonful of peanut butter and a dusting of cocoa to get a smooth, sweet and rich dessert. Watch the video about to see how it's done.
10. Lemon posset
This delicious lemon posset needs only 3 ingredients and 15 minutes to make. It's light and refreshing and makes for the perfect dessert with no fuss. Enjoy it on its own, or with biscuits.
