Marks & Spencer launches continental cheese selection to take all the hassle out of putting together your Christmas platter
Let M&S do all the hard work for you
Marks & Spencer has launched a continental cheese selection to take the hassle out of putting together your Christmas cheese board.
We all love to indulge in a cheese board (or ten) over the Christmas period. But while we can’t get enough of feasting on a cheese board, it’s a different case when it comes to actually building the perfect cheese board.
Do we need a mild and a strong brie? How many should be soft and how many should be hard? And which blue cheese would suit the board best? It can all be a bit too much to deal with when all we want to do is slump in our comfies and dig into a whole plate of cheese with a glass of wine.
Well now high-end supermarket Marks & Spencer has taken all the hard work out of our Christmas cheese board times with their new selection platter.
Impress your guests without any faff with the store’s Continental Cheese Selection, which includes na expertly put-together collection of the finest European cheeses, which are all from artisan producers.
Included on the platter you will find manchego PDO, tangy blue Montagnolo made with triple cream, silky French brie and - a favourite over here at woman&home HQ - super-creamy Epoisses.
‘Simply serve with fresh figs, grapes, nuts and crackers and a glass of your favourite wine,’ says M&S. ‘Our Classics California chardonnay, which has ripe mango and citrus flavours, would be a great choice’.

The cheese selection is not available online, but if you head down to your local Marks & Spencer Simply Food or Food Hall, you should be able to get hold of it there - that’s if there are still any available because we can see this one being snapped up very quickly!
We were already excited for Christmas but this has just pushed us over the edge - we might have to get the festive films on today...
