While I definitely need to wear a bra and I appreciate the support and lift that they provide from day to day, in all honesty I really don’t enjoy wearing them. I absolutely love slipping into my snuggly loungewear as soon as I walk through my front door, and it’s always such a relief to whip my usual wired bra off and really feel relaxed again.

I will always opt for a structured bra while I'm out and about, and many women rely on bras for large busts and minimiser bras, but I'm a firm believer that everybody's lingerie collection should also contain one or two of the most comfortable bras for those low-key days and when you just don’t need masses of support.

I had a couple of non-wired pieces in my underwear drawer already, but I didn’t think I’d ever find a bra that was soft enough to wear with my slouchy sweatshirt and leggings for a lazy sofa day. That is, until I tried the Sloggi Zero Feel Bliss Bralette.

Sloggi Zero Feel Bliss Bralette

The soft and stretchy piece has been designed with comfort in mind and is free from labels, wires, and seams to keep it sleek and fitted without any risk of pinching, rubbing or digging in. The scalloped edges will sit invisibly under clothing – making it a great choice for anybody on the hunt for the best bras for back fat too. The Zero Feel bra range from Sloggi has been a bestseller, and they’ve just added to the range with two new colours – Apricot and Misty Turquoise.

The Zero Feel Bliss Bralette gave my chest support and light hold without feeling restricting, and while it probably wouldn’t be enough to keep my boobs under control while running for the bus, it is perfect for adding shape and smoothness while I’m indoors and lounging about.

I tried the Misty Turquoise hued design and I wore it for a full day, washed it and then wore again. While testing it out, I considered the fabric, shape, support and overall comfort as well as how neatly it sat under clothes.

Sloggi Zero Feel Bliss Bralette : Comfort & Fit

As I mentioned, this bra is seriously comfy. The super thin and stretchy lace fabric is made up from 76% polyamide and 24% elastane, so it has plenty of give to avoid it digging in or feeling rigid, yet it kept its hold well to avoid it riding up or feeling loose later in the day. It's pull on, so there’s no faffy clip to contend with, and although you can’t adjust the straps, they are stretchy enough to feel comfy without pinching on shoulders. It comes with soft removable shaped cups, so you can go even softer if you fancy and the wavy hem ensures that it sits neatly and smoothly from all angles.

Sloggi Zero Feel Bliss Bralette : Style

The simple and fuss free design of this lingerie is one of the first things that I liked about this bralette. The modern lacy fabric isn’t too much, and I like the new soft turquoise colour way. It looks great as it is, and will add a little flash of colour when worn under a vest top or an oversized woolly jumper. The scalloped edges keep it feeling feminine and pretty, and it's currently available in five other colour options including hot pink and fresh white. There’s matching knickers to buy too, which is perfect for anybody that likes to keep things co-ordinated.

Sloggi Zero Feel Bliss Bralette : Care

Because it's wire-free and doesn’t have any thick padding, this bralette can actually be washed in the machine on a low temperature – which is such a treat compared to having to hand-wash my usual underwear staples. It washed well, dried really speedily and kept its hold and shape the next time I wore it.

Sloggi Zero Feel Bliss Bralette: Verdict

I have worn a lot of bras over the years and when it comes to structured bras vs wire-free bralettes like this, I always prefer the comfier option. This one is definitely up there with the best and most comfortable bras available right now. It adds a little support, creates a smooth and natural looking shape across my bust and was so comfy, that I genuinely forgot I was wearing it. If you are on the hunt for a loungewear bra that looks chic – this one is for you.
