The real standout feature of this trainer is the memory foam insole, which makes walking in these shoes an absolute joy and, by fair they are some of the most comfortable trainers for women. This is especially true if, like me, you're a firm fan of structured footwear like leather loafers or boots that can cause lots of discomfort!
They also strike the perfect balance between having athletic functionality and being versatile enough for styling with smart-casual daywear. Plus, these trainers are great if you're into elevated athleisure wear—a trend that we've seen on the rise since 2020 and one that I can't help but get behind. Who doesn't love comfy, practical dressing? It's no wonder people are wanting to dress in activewear to grab lunch or run errands, and it can look ultra-chic and be styled effortlessly. Combine these Skechers with the best black gym leggings and an oversized wool coat, and your favourite piece of luxurious knitwear—the perfect outfit to have on rotation in your autumn capsule wardrobe.
Skechers Summits Review
Skechers Summits Artistry Sneaker: Comfort & Support
After wearing these trainers on morning errands and a long park walk, I can confidently say how comfortable they remained the whole time. It is easy to understand how Skechers has a reputation for comfort. The cushioned memory foam moulds to your feet, providing plenty of support for the soles and your ankles, without feeling bulky or too much. And the mesh material is surprisingly soft, offering a slight stretch that's not restrictive at all.
We've all been there with trainers that cause blisters straight away, and it's safe to say that these will certainly not give you any grief. They have an easy slip-on design that's great for easily getting on and off, and a bonus point is there is no laces so you won't have the issue of doing your shoes up constantly. These shoes are also brilliant if you have a long commute into the office, and if you want an easy trainer to slip on and off when on the go.
Skechers Summits Artistry Sneaker: Style
Although these are designed as athletic shoes, these trainers will pair well with casual everyday outfits, such as denim jeans, gym leggings or even a pair of tailored trousers. Their minimalist design makes them versatile enough to work with a variety of outfits which makes them a fantastic wardrobe staple for all year round wear.
Whilst these are definitely more on the sporty side, they don't scream "workout shoes," so I've found them ideal for those in-between moments where you want to look put-together but you are also going to prioritise comfort first. I can see these trainers being brilliant for morning commutes, long walks, shopping errands, and anything in between.
Plus there are plenty of colour choices to pick from, including a pastel lavender colour, and sage green. So you won't be stuck for options.
Skechers Summits Artistry Sneaker: Cleaning & Care
These trainers are hand-wash only, although their mesh material means that they don't easy get scuffs or marks on them. I would recommend spot cleaning them with a damp cloth and soap, a pretty quick and easy way to keep them clean, and the mesh material will easily dry too. Although if you opt for a lighter colour pair you might want to invest in a Skechers care kit that will help remove any stains or marks, and will leave your shoes fresh and odour free!
Skechers Summits Artistry Sneaker: Verdict
Overall, Skechers Summits are a brilliant find for anyone who wants a comfortable and sleek pair of trainers that are practical for everyday wear. They are incredibly supportive with a design that's soft and forgiving on the feet. Plus, their minimal design looks chic enough for running errands and wearing smart casual outfits without them feeling out of place. So if you're someone who's constantly on the move but still wants to look put together, these are definitely for you!

Add a pop of colour to your trainer collection with this sage green pick. I can imagine these pairing beautifully with a fabulous white jeans outfit and a long camel trench coat.
