When it comes to the best white trainers, there is lots to consider, from functionality to style, we naturally expect a lot from our everyday footwear. After reviewing plenty of styles, the Reebok Club C 85 stands out as a firm favourite. Its classic design manages to be both stylish and functional, without feeling overly sporty, which is perfect in my opinion.
I’ve worn them with barrel leg jeans and a blazer for smarter occasions, then paired them with leggings and the best wool jumper for a laid-back weekend outing. The clean, white colour feels refined yet effortless, making them one of the few trainers that genuinely work for both casual and smart occasions. So if you’re after a trainer that is both functional and looks good, these should be a top contender.

These white trainers will become your new wardrobe go-to, they are classic, smart and effortlessly chic. And if white isn't your favourite colour there are plenty more to choose from.
Reebok Women's Club C 85: Comfort & Support
Not only do these trainers offer a classic, stylish aesthetic, but they are also comfortable too, due to their lightweight and durable design. I wore these trainers for a range of activities, from light workouts paired with gym leggings to running day-to-day errands with jeans, and I barely noticed them on my feet.
Unlike some trainers that can feel rigid or leave you with sore feet at first, these felt broken in from the start, and whilst wearing them, I barely felt a thing. They have a lightweight midsole that provides a subtle amount of support, making them a great trainer for wearing all day, whether that's for commuting, weekend outings, or city strolls.
A drawback, however, is that the fit is slightly narrower than most designs, meaning that they are probably not the best trainers for those with wider feet. Another thing to note is that they slip slightly at the back, so perhaps an insole would be needed if you're more prone to this.
Reebok Women's Club C 85: Style
What I love most about the Reebok Club C 85 trainers is their ability pair perfectly with plenty of my capsule wardrobe favourites. The classic, retro shape is almost made to be paired with denim, although these trainers would work with floaty linen or cotton trousers, as well as dresses too. In the photos I styled them with my Relaxed Pintuck Jeans from Albaray.
You could wear these with wide leg tailored trousers and the best Burberry trench coat for work attire, or and even paired them with leggings and an oversized blazer for a smart-casual feel.
Their simple, classic design means that they never look out of place, whether you’re dressing up or down. So if you need some of trainers that can take you from the gym to dinner without feeling out of place, these are the perfect choice.
Reebok Women's Club C 85: Cleaning & Care
As with any white trainer, keeping them fresh requires a little effort. Since they’re made from a faux-leather material, I would always clean them by hand rather than putting them in the washing machine.
A soft brush or damp cloth works well for and you could always use a mix of mild detergent with warm water to help lift deeper stains. After cleaning, I would leave them to air dry naturally no direct heat, as that can damage the material.
Reebok Women's Club C 85 Sneaker: Verdict
Overall, this classic trainer is worth the small investment, and it's perfect if you are looking for a shoe that can do it all. A standout feature is that they are truly versatile; you can wear these whilst being active, and they can be styled so well for smart-casual occasions too. Plus, these are extremely affordable, with prices for other white trainers ranging into the hundreds, these are a winner in terms of cost.
They’re comfortable enough for long days on your feet, which is something to note when considering what style to wear, and their lightweight design makes you barely notice them on your feet.
