Exciting news alert! There's a brand new collaboration you need to know about, and we predict it'll be a must-have for Christmas. Danish watch brand August Berg has teamed up with British heritage art and design label Morris & Co.
The iconic brand has been running since 1861 and were one of the most outstanding figures for the British Arts and Crafts Movement, motivated to provide affordable 'art for all'. Now, the company focuses on interiors with wallpaper, fabric and home accessories all in iconic prints. The Morris & Co. x August Berg collaboration features a carefully curated edit of timepieces. The collection merges the sleek, Scandi watch style with traditional British prints and colours.
Based on the artwork created by designer William Morris, the designs feature iterations of the famous prints: pimpernel, strawberry thief and forest. The teal, deep green and rich red straps create luxury styles you'll want to gift, or keep for yourself. Each of the designs is available with either the nylon Perlon strap (in the colours above) or a Milanese metal mesh in silver (below).
If you prefer a classic feel when it comes to wristwear then the silver collect is for you. With a more subtle print design and everyday feel, you'll want to wear these with every outfit. Each style can also be personalised with an engraved message on the back of the face.
Want even more good news? The box the watch will be delivered in is made from a sustainably sourced bamboo. That's not all. August Berg also donates 6-months of quality education for kids in rural Africa with every sale. For every 20,000 watches sold, the watch brand will build a school for children in local communities through the Human Practice Foundation.
