Now, TikTokers are unveiling a fake collar that's not only affordable but avoids heavy layering.
Amazon's fake collar gives the illusion that you're wearing a button-down without actually having to do so. The Dickey collar is actually just a half-shirt that you put on over part of your chest, then just slip on a sweatshirt, tank top, or blouse, and it'll give you that put-together look without having to wear so many layers.
In one TikTok, you see user @jade_trillest give a tutorial on how to wear the fake collar as well as different outfits you can pair it with. She even captioned the video "Lifehack for my girls," showing that the versatile style can be worn any season. The fashion hack was so popular and beloved by followers that the video gained over 350,000 likes.
