The Duchess of Cambridge has often shown her sporty side when taking part in public engagements and the mum-of-three has inspired a new range of trainers. Following on from her popular M&S rainbow stripe - green, beige, and silver stripes - that she wore to an official engagement last year, the store has launched three new coloured versions of the sports shoe.

And if you've already snapped up a pair of the best running shoes for women, and you're looking for a pair that will work well with a comfy casual weekend outfit then look no further than these adorable designs.

The new pairs come in either metallic silver with three pastel rainbow stripes (pink, blue, green and silver) on the side; navy blue with a white sole and multicoloured (yellow, green, pink and silver) side detail; and a plain white design with black mix stripes.

Kate who is mum to Prince George, seven, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two, with husband Prince William, is a very hands-on mum and is often pictured outdoors with her children. These trainers are a must-have for mums or those who want to look stylish as well as experiencing the added comfort a trainer has to offer.

Kate wore her popular trainers to a visit with Sportsaid which was held at the London Stadium in Stratford and celebrated the role that parents and guardians play in their child's sporting success. The event was also attended by a number of sports stars including heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill, swimmer Rebecca Adlington and Taekwondo athlete Lutalo Muhammad.

The new trainers would be perfectly teamed up with Kate's Barbour jacket which has had a fresh update for 2021.
