Laura Ashley is becoming a fashion favourite on TV screens this week

It’s every fashion brand’s dream to launch a collection and have it spotted on a star the same week, so Laura Ashley must be over the moon to see their new styles being worn by not one, but TWO TV favourites!

Quintessentially British brand Laura Ashley continue to channel their signature romantic style this season, with the launch of two contemporary capsule collections. Alderney and Clarendon are designed for the modern woman.

Showing love for the brand on the 11th of February, GMB presenter Kate Garraway wore the heart-printed maxi dress from the Alderney collection. She was quickly followed by style queen Holly Willoughby, who wore the navy version of the gown on This Morning later the same week.

Well, there’s fluid shapes, irresistibly feminine detailing, flattering silhouettes and imaginative reworking of beautiful heritage floral prints, which give these pieces the unmistakably English touches that the brand is so loved for.

Alderney Collection

The charming heart print favoured by Kate and Holly, is part of the Alderbey collection and dances across an apron front midi dress and a full-sleeved blouse. There are also feminine dresses and blouses featuring gentle frills, blouson sleeves and soft tie necks giving a romantic edge to the new season. As well as sumptuous floral prints presented in nutmeg and navy.

Clarendon Collection

The Clarendon collection on the other hand heralds the return of sunnier days, with a palette of soft pastels and a riot of floral prints. From a chic blossom that plays to the dark botanical trend, to a gentle hedgerow floral, and sophisticated self-spot in periwinkle blue, these are pieces that brighten any summer wardrobe.
