Can a minimiser bra be both comfortable and supportive? Here's what I think of the Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra
Will this bra deliver on support and style?

A great bra if you're looking for a comfortable style. If you are a size F+ cup you may find it isn't supportive enough for everyday wear, but it's a great option for relaxing at home or if you're unable to wear wired styles.

Why you can trust Woman & Home

Big or small? Full or flat? Whatever size and shape your boobs are, it's a wise idea to wear a bra. The types of bra that you choose will depend on a combination of factors from the outfit you are wearing to the level of support you require.
If you are looking for the most comfortable bras, or maybe even the best bras for sleeping in, I'd recommend choosing a style that is non-wired. A well designed non-wired bra will also provide adequate support. Look out for styles that are made from super stretchy fabrics or have cups that are constructed from 3 or 4 parts that are engineered to take the weight of the breast tissue.

Bravissimo have been designing bras for women with big boobs for 30 years and I'm a huge fan of their Millie Balcony Bra which is highly supportive. They provide a fitting service, both in-store and virtually, and I popped into their London store to confirm my bra size as a 32FF.
For the purpose of this review I was looking for the best minimiser bras that would support my boobs while also make them look smaller. Most minimiser bras are wired styles, so I was surprised to see that their Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra was listed as a minimising style and decided to give it a try. While testing the bra, over the course of a week, I considered how well it fitted, the level of support, how comfortable it felt and whether it had any minimising effect.
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra
It's the cleverly constructed cups that provide the support you need from this bra and it's available in sizes D-J which is ideal if you have big boobs. The bra is available in one colour, a pretty blush pink, and matches the Fantasie Smoothease Briefs to create a set.
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra Review
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra: Shape & Design
The pinstripe pattern gives this bra a sleek and modern feel. It's a clean and simple design without any additional embellishments. The cups fully encompass the breasts and are constructed from 4 parts, including a side sling panel that pushes the breast slightly forwards to create cleavage. The cups are edged with stretchy elastic to ensure a snug fit against the skin. The centre gore measures 10 cm and the elastic straps are 2cm wide. The bra fastens with a 2 hook fastening on sizes D-G cup and a 3 hook fastening on sizes GG-J.
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra: Support & Fit
This bra fitted me well, the cups provided full coverage and the band felt firm but not too tight. The straps were easy to adjust. However, although the bra was a good fit it didn't feel supportive enough to wear for a long period of time or to do anything too active in it. To compensate for the fact that it is non-wired I felt that I needed to tighten the straps to take some of the weight of my boobs.
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra: Comfort
Here's where this bra excels! The cotton lining was cool and allowed my skin to breathe and the lack of wires made the bra incredibly light and flexible. It's super comfortable and easy to wear.
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra: Function
I loved how comfortable this bra felt to wear and it provided enough support to keep my boobs in place while relaxing or going for a stroll. It gave my boobs a natural shape, with minimal uplift. I don't think it has a minimising effect on the size, but it did keep my boobs in place.
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra: Care
This bra is hand wash only and I washed it twice without any change in the appearance or quality. It's soft and flexible making it easy to store.
Bravissimo Cici Non Wired Bra: Verdict
I liked this bra and will wear it when I'm relaxing or working from home. I didn't feel it gave me enough support to wear on a busy day when I have lots of running around to do, but it was extremely comfortable.
