The hydrating skincare range we can’t get enough of
Japan’s No 1 premium skincare range has finally landed in the UK - here’s what you need to try, plus details on a discount…
We’re real skincare obsessives - nothing excites us more than a new range or innovation. So, when we heard Japan’s No 1 skincare range was coming to the UK via Superdrug we were interested, but when we actually tested it, that’s when the interest turned to true excitement.
Hada Labo Tokyo have been making waves in the Japan for decades. They’re now Japan’s no1 selling skincare range, with one of their lotions sold every two seconds. The whole range includes luxe-looking products at an affordable price, with a focus on hardworking, effective ingredients.
What’s new with Hada Labo Tokyo?
They’ve just launched The Premium Range in the UK exclusively to Superdrug. The range is all about hydration, hydration, hydration. Dehydrated skin looks dull, sagging and is more prone to wrinkles, so it’s important to use hydrating skincare to keep it looking plump and bouncy. The key ingredient for doing that is hyaluronic acid, which can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water - we’re sure you’ve heard it touted as a super hydrator - likely, by us!
Well, the Hada Labo Tokyo Premium range contains five different types of Hyaluronic Acid, which target different layers of the skin’s surface, creating a unique multi later hydration from Japan’s No 1 skincare line. The range hydrates, plumps, and smooths skin, and also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s essentially a big glass of water for thirsty skin - perfect for this time of year.
What's the verdict?
Those lucky enough to get a preview before the April launch have been seriously impressed. Well-respected experts such as Lisa Potter Dixon and Nadine Baggott have mentioned the brand, which is no mean feat!
It also impressed the influencers, with a key group touting it as a must buy product as it won a 2022 ASOS Beauty Awards in the Best Skincare Treatment category.
