Best cleanser
RRP: £22
Whether you use it first thing in the morning or just before you hit the hay, this gentle cleanser is the perfect candidate for removing makeup, dirt and grime from your complexion. Formulated with jojoba oil, green tea extract and aloe vera juice, this creamy formula boosts moisture, leaving the skin soft, smooth and plump.
Digital Beauty Writer, Sennen Prickett struggles with unpredictable skin that fluctuates between dry and sensitive or oily and blemish-prone. She says: "It's hard to find a cleanser that caters to all my skin's needs, one that doesn't completely strip my complexion of moisture or leaves me with unwanted breakouts."
But, after trialling Tropic's Smoothing Cleanser, Sennen had nothing but positive things to say: "It comes as a pleasant surprise that this cleanser does just the trick for my skin type. Its formula is ever so luxurious and kind to the skin, removing all dirt and leaving me feeling clean, without completely stripping away hydration. Plus, it arrives with an incredibly soft bamboo washcloth, which pairs perfectly with the product."
Reasons to buy: Those with balanced or dry skin who are after a gentle yet effective cleanser
Best serum
RRP: £44
Say hello to Tropic's famous Rainforest Dew. This must-have lightweight serum is the answer to maintaining a healthy skin barrier thanks to its abundance of hyaluronic acid, botanical extracts and reparative plant peptides - think an instantly hydrated complexion that is both soft, supple and radiant. Although this serum boasts an intriguing green colour, Sennen advises to not be fooled as it offers enviable results, she says: "I appreciate how quickly the serum absorbs into the skin, leaving you feeling fresh, rejuvenated and with a healthy glow."
The popularity of this serum extends to Digital Beauty Editor, Aleesha Badkar, she says: "This serum boasts an ultra-thin and lightweight formula, allowing for quick absorption and making it the top candidate for layering with other skincare products. It is incredibly hydrating, so much so that it feels like a cool thirst-quenching glass of water, making it comfortable to wear and leaving the skin hydrated, soothed and refreshed."
Reasons to buy: Those with dull and dry skin in need of a powerful hydration hit
Best essence
RRP: £20
Infused with gentle yet effective avocado milk, aloe vera juice and hyaluronic acid, this refreshing mist delivers antioxidant-rich hydration to thirsty complexions. Balancing your skin's pH levels and encouraging a healthy skin barrier, this milky essence makes for a great toner.
After trialling an array of different toning mists available on the market, Digital Beauty Writer, Sennen Prickett was seriously impressed by this Tropic formulation, she says: "This is the finest mist I've ever come across. With no uncomfortably fierce spritzes on your face, this essence effortlessly graces the complexion. It boasts a refreshing cucumber scent which is perfectly uplifting for the morning, while also assuring me of the natural ingredients inside."
As for the results, Sennen says: "It leaves my skin both looking and feeling hydrated and dewy. It works perfectly as an easy-to-apply toner incorporated into your routine, or when used as a complexion-reviving pick-me-up throughout the day."
Reasons to buy: Anyone wanting to boost their complexion's hydration and balance their pH levels, especially those with dry or dehydrated skin
Best exfoliator
RRP: £24
The brand's debut product, this body polishing scrub is a best-seller for a reason. Equipped with mineral-rich sea salt, which works to gently eliminate dead skin, and vibrant citrus oils, this scrub offers a true spa-like experience from the comfort of your own home.
After previously not prioritising a body exfoliator in her routine, this gem has gone on to become a staple in Digital Beauty Writer, Sennen Prickett's shower routine, "When I say this is the best body scrub I've ever tried, I mean it - it's truly like no other," she says. "It effortlessly buffs away dry skin whilst boosting hydration, leaving a moisturising film on the skin that water droplets bounce off."
As for when she uses it, she says: "Personally, I reach for this when my skin is feeling dry and in need of exfoliation, or when I want to effortlessly remove stubborn fake tan without irritating my skin. May I add, the wooden spoon is an element of luxury and makes it easy to apply (especially if you have long almond nails, like I do)."
Reasons to buy: If you want a luxurious spa experience at home
Best bodycare
RRP: £12
Equipped with chamomile-derived bisabolol, gingergrass and tea tree, this soothing cream deodorant offers a sweat-resistant formula that keeps your armpits fresh all day long - without any irritation. Using naturally-derived aluminium salts, this breathable deodorant ensures the skin stays calm and nourished, while also preventing bacteria from spreading.
Aleesha trialled this product after beginning her natural deodorant journey and it made quite the impression on her, she says: "This deodorant boasts a comfortable, creamy formula that feels refreshing and soothing on your underarms, even after shaving, without causing any irritation - plus, it gets extra points for its amazing scent. It is slightly wet when first applied, so I wouldn’t recommend getting dressed straight away, however, it does dry down nicely minus the stickiness of other natural deodorants. The applicator and squeezy bottle also make it easy to measure how much you’re using."
Most importantly, if you're wondering how it stands up throughout the day, Aleesha says: "As for the antiperspirant, it works really well, with no sweat patches or unpleasant body odours that you sometimes get after a long day’s wear with other natural deodorants. Overall, it is definitely my favourite natural product I have used since starting my natural deodorant journey."
Reasons to buy: If you're looking for a natural, sweat-resistant deodorant that doesn't irritate the armpit region
Best oil
RRP: £30
For those seeking a skincare product that hydrates, nourishes and encourages youthfulness, look no further than Tropic's Elixir Omega Oil. This radiance-boosting gem is packed with omega-rich ingredients and vitamin E to feed the skin with 'the same level of essential fatty acids we’d naturally have at the age of 22 (after which they decline)'.
Sennen is a huge fan of incorporating face oils into her skincare routine for that extra hydration hit, she says: "Straight off the bat, this omega-rich oil leaves my skin with a beautifully radiant glow. It's perfect in the colder months of the year when your skin needs some extra hydrating TLC, just like mine."
As for its all-important results, she notes: "My complexion looks noticeably plumper, nourished and hydrated, without experiencing any irritation or breakouts - which is a huge plus when it comes to face oils. I typically apply it as part of my evening routine before I head to bed, which leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and moisturised in the morning."
Reasons to buy: Restores fatty acids to help nourish, firm and boost radiance in the lacklustre skin
