The new hair appointment trend as demand increases by 2250%
Now that hairdressers are finally reopening, finding a hair salon near you could that’s not already booked up for weeks could be tricky – but there’s one trick you could try.
It’s been a few months now that Brits have not been able to cut, blow dry or dye their hair professionally – and many a roots and split ends are in desperate need of a touch up right now.
So it’s no wonder that hair salons are reporting huge demands after the announcement that they can finally reopen this Saturday 4 July.
Some London salons are reporting more than 2,000-strong waiting lists, while one Yorkshire-based even started offering 5am appointments.

If you’re among the Brits in need of a haircut but your trusted hair salon is already booked up, then you could try something that’s been working for many people up and down the country.
In order to secure an appointment that’s harder to come by than anti-bac was back in March, many are booking their treatments via Treatwell. The hair and beauty bookings platform reported an unprecedented 2250 per cent surge in demand for hair appointments, according to Harper's BAZAAR.
