Charlotte Tilbury Launches New Lipstick Inspired By The Duchess Of Cambridge

Charlotte Tilbury first revealed her fondness for the royal family last year when the A-list makeup artist launched The Queen, a limited-edition raspberry red lipstick in tribute to Her Majesty.

Now, the iconic shade has returned as part of the just-dropped At Your Lip Service Collection. Even more excitingly we get two brand new royal-inspired shades to play with; Legendary Queen, a chic burgundy, and The Duchess, a pretty rose no doubt inspired by Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

As you'd expect from a brand that can basically do no wrong shade-wise, both are corkers.

Legendary Queen comes in the Matte Revolution texture (think tons of pigment, a velvety finish but no drying effects) the colour is just dark enough to be a bit sexy but stops short of vampy. One to keep in your handbag for those occasions when a day out becomes a night out. Instant sophistication.

My personal favourite for pure ease of wear would have to be The Duchess. It comes in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G texture, which is as it sounds, kissably soft and creamy with a moist finish that makes lips look nice and pouty.

The colour is perfection too, a cool daytime pink with dusky undertones that would suit a variety of skintones. It's no secret that Kate is a fan of classically pared-back neutrals (case in point; those nude LK Bennet pumps) so I have no doubt she would approve of this lovely tribute by a fellow British beauty icon.
