We can't stop watching this video of Heidi Klum cutting her own bangs
Addictive!
While we don't normally advocate a drastic DIY haircut, watching Heidi Klum cutting her own bangs is actually worth the journey. And it is a journey, although thankfully one with a happy ending.
Klum herself is keen to stress "This is clearly not a how-to video. Don't try this at home," but the end result is actually pretty professionally chopped (although maybe not quite as polished as Anne Hathaway's French Girl bangs).
On Thursday, the supermodel and television personality, 47, posted a video of herself cutting her own hair after her musician husband, Tom Kaulitz, 31, waded in on which hairstyle he likes best on her. Unsurprisingly the fringe hairstyle won outright.

Klum reportedly began dating Kaulitz in 2018 and later got engaged that December after a year of dating. The couple got married in February 2019.
"I just asked my husband what his favorite hairstyle was and he said long hair with bangs...after I just grew mine out," said Klum in the video. "Let's give it a try!"
Klum — who filmed the spontaneous moment first in a white robe before stripping down to a black lace bra in her bathroom — also offers an apology to her hairstylists before getting started. "Sorry Wendy [Iles]! Sorry Lorenzo [Martin]! The husband should get what the husband wants."

Not that anything in this video runs smoothly. First there's a drama about finding the right scissors for the job at hand. "Why can't there just be regular scissors in here?” Klum says, followed by a fair bit of cussing. All of which turns in a wild nail biting ride when she pulls out a massive pair of kitchen scissors.
After first posting the crying emoji, Martin later gave his stamp of approval and sent the fire emoji.

A word of warning though: if your bangs have reached that awkward nose tickling length it's worth buying a proper pair of hair-cutting scissors and using a tail comb for accuracy. Then, says ghd ambassador Zoe Irwin, ‘add a styling product like mousse to wet hair and blow-dry your fringe flat with a brush." This ensures you don't cut your bangs shorter than intended as your hair stretches when it’s wet.
