Sophie Wessex swears by Trish McEvoy and who could blame her? The brand has achieved cult status over the years for everything from its skincare to its fragrances, and glow-giving makeup too.

Fashion-forward Sophie Wessex' nail polish may break royal protocol, but her subtle makeup choices adhere to the royal standard. Sticking to the rules never looked so good as the Countess always looks utterly resplendent during her public engagements.

Back in 2014, the hardworking royal broke protocol in an entirely different way - which will make you love her even more. Grab a box of tissues because the story behind how we know Trish McEvoy products are a key part of her skincare routine is almost too much to handle.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex attends The Ceremony of the Keys on the forecourt of the Palace of Holyroodhouse on June 27, 2022 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Members of the Royal Family are spending a Royal Week in Scotland, carrying out a number of engagements between Monday June 27 and Friday July 01, 2022.

This product is radiance in a bottle, offering you a hell of a lot of glow-boosting properties. It's a multi-purpose product that combines moisturizer, primer, and sunscreen. With 30% hyaluronic acid, it's wonderfully hydrating without being greasy and is perfect worn alone or as a base for your makeup.

Sophie was on a visit to the charity PACT, Parents and Children Together, at Dorchester Abbey in Oxfordshire, per the Daily Mail, when a little girl asked a rather cheeky question. She asked the royal what was in her handbag - something we're all dying to know - and despite it probably not being allowed according to uptight royal rules, the down-to-earth Countess immediately emptied her tiny red baguette clutch and went through all of its contents with the youngster.

So what does the Countess carry around in her little bag? Tonnes of Trish McEvoy makeup and skincare products - which may be the key to her radiant glow, timeless beauty, and effortless elegance.

The word 'classic' is earned and this perfect lippy truly deserves its name. Just like all of the products made by Trish McEvoy, Classic Lip Colour is filled with ingredients that nourish and hydrate your skin, enhancing your natural beauty. As a long-wearing yet buildable product, you can add a little depth to the shade by layering more lippy on top. Lip-smackingly good!

Most recently, the Countess beamed at an official visit to the London Zoo. Sophie Wessex's emerald wide-leg pants were perfectly suited to the setting, in amongst botanical beauty as well as animals from all over the world. Always happy to muck in, she was photographed helping the busy zookeepers out, feeding a Golden-Headed Lion Tamarin, and a Red Titi Monkey.

As a part of the visit, Sophie stopped by an aviary that the late Queen Elizabeth II previously visited in 1967. The aviary in question was designed by Princess Margaret's late husband, the 1st Earl of Snowdon. The Queen was a royal patron of the London Zoo from 1953 until her death in September 2022.
